Good Wednesday Morning - Thanks for the bagels, GJ, and the coffee. Just enough to get the day rolling.
Boy, did we have a noisy storm at 4 am this morning! Knocked our power out just long enough to screw up the clocks, micro, etc. The thunder-boomers about blasted me out of bed! It's weird, tho, the chimney didn't leak! but the wind and rain were coming from the south .... the leak seems to be on the east side of the chimney.
It's nearly 70 here already. But, more storms coming along .... flash flood watch is out for us.
Phil - You didn't report on your fishing trip last weekend. Did you catch any?
Well, I've got to get busy .... not a lot to do today, but I'll find something, for sure.
Have a great day all.

We caught a few but the wind was blowing so hard we didn't fish much because it was cold and blowing us all over the place when we trolled along the shoreline. It's still a little cold and early yet for the fish to be doing much anyway.
So we rode around drank beer and chased a fire that was burning the place up. There was thick smoke and ashes all over the place on the lake. We saw lots of burned up acreage and some flames but most of the fire itself was away from the lake some, up further into the forest.
Then on Monday we spent most of our time hooking up some exterior security cameras because, since I stayed there last, we had someone break into our farmhouse and steal some stuff. Including the TV

Thanks for breakfast, but it seems I didn't make it in till lunchtime. They're making me earn my paycheck today, WTH Yep, lots of storms here last night, been okay today, but calling for those cats, dogs & mooses to be falling tonight. Hope it just holds out till I get home. Trying to each some quick lunch, a yummy wrap, then it's back to the grind. This day is flying by Great Hump Day to everyone.

Good afternoon everyone! People seem to be busy today - not a lot of posts on the Wednesday thread yet.
I've had a wonderful day! Got into my blue jeans and t-shirt and dropped a couple of the prerequisite resume's off then headed to walk and my exercise class. Some of my old staff invited me to lunch. Today was "Rock & Roll" day in the cafeteria. An band of oldie's but goodies comes every year and plays oldies but goodies during the lunch hour at the cafeteria. It is always fun. And several gathered around and told me how "everything has gone to h@## since you left". I think about a half dozen of my old staff has left - maybe more. The told me one of the last one's that quit went directly to the HR director (instead of her boss) and told her that "Everything has gone to #### around here since Judy Jones left and I'm quitting" - the HR director told her she needed to talk to her boss and the facilities director - and her reply was "I don't have anything to say to them". Sure is nice to be missed After exercise, fun lunch, and getting my ego stroked I came home and worked in the yard a couple of hours. Now got to get cleaned up (again) and to to the chiropractor in a little while.
I'll try to check back in later! Hope everyone enjoys the rest of the day.
