Last night Cat and I were trying to make plans for camping. It's pretty tough with all of BN's band activities. Hopefully we will get to squeeze one weekend in somewhere.

We've been looking at ads for boats. And while looking for ads we found a piece of river property. Probably just a fun chase for now but it's something we would like to have in the future.

And that vacation planning with high schoolers...have FUN!

Have to jump in the shower and start getting ready.

Noticed a nice RV here in the park for sale. It's a 2005 with only 2,700 miles on it .... yup, that's true. They don't drive it much ... it's like their second home. They are selling it. We'll take a look at it on Sunday .... just for the heck of it.

Here is a little info on Red Eye Gravy which use to be called ham gravy.....

Andrew Jackson the 7th President of the United States (and one time resident of Pensacola), called for his cook to tell him what to prepare for the morning meal. The cook had been drinking moonshine the night before and his eyes were rimmed in red. Taking a look at those bloody red eyes, General Jackson instructed the cook to bring him some country ham with gravy as red as his eyes.
